This 3.5-hour skill builder session covers performance pistol shooting and red dot pistol specific skills. We will take an in-depth look into what goes into running a pistol fast and efficiently while still maintaining an acceptable degree of accuracy. As red dot optics on pistols are becoming increasingly popular, there are quite a few skills to learn to get the most out of a red dot equipped pistol. We will cover how to acquire the dot quickly, track the dot under recoil and alternate sighting methods that can be used in the event that the optic fails. This is not a beginner's class, and all students will be expected to have safe weapon handling. This class has a lot of movement and transitional work and is physically demanding. Class is from 6-9:30pm at the Charlevoix Rod & Gun Club's pistol range.
